What the game is

Pineapple starts each player with three private cards and uses Hold'em-style community cards for the final hand evaluation.

Rules of Pineapple

• Each player starts with three private cards instead of the two used in Hold'em.
• The game uses Hold'em-style community cards: three on the flop, one on the turn, and one on the river.
• Those three starting cards create more possible five-card hands than Hold'em, so similar-looking spots can have very different equity.
• Use the calculator to compare how the extra private card changes preflop strength and postflop draw equity.
