What the game is

Pineapple Hi/Lo combines three-card Pineapple starting hands with split-pot high and qualifying low outcomes.

Rules of Pineapple Hi/Lo

• Each player starts with three private cards and uses shared community cards, similar to Pineapple.
• The high side of the pot goes to the best five-card high hand.
• The low side is available only when a player can make five different ranks that are eight or lower. Aces count low, and straights or flushes do not hurt the low hand.
• A player can be strong for high, low, or both. The best outcomes usually come from hands that can scoop, meaning win the whole pot.
